Family & Community Super Sunday
Our annual Family & Community evetm at Bridgeton Bus Garage with the GVVT vehicle collection and added attractions. Free vintage bus rides and a free shuttle service to the city centre operate on Super Sundays.
We are Open from 11am-4pm. Save time and buy your ticket online or pay on the day by cash or card! £6 adult, £5 Concession, £4 Child, £17 Family. No increase in ticket prices for 2026!
Child tickets are for children aged 3-15. A family ticket is valid for 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children. Under 3’s are admitted free and don’t require a ticket!
Don’t forget to visit our Museum & Archive to see our wonderful displays of uniforms, ticket machines, posters, signs, destination displays, models and so much more!
GVVT Family Day isn’t GVVT Family Day without the Michael Brawley Big Band supported by the Jump ‘n’ Jive dancers. Hear them swing the garage with two one-hour sets at 12 noon and 2pm.
Our free Vintage Bus service means you can leave your car at home! A free shuttle service will operate every 15 minutes between the Garage and City Centre, just a few minutes walk from George Square and Queen Street Station. If you’re coming by car, on-street parking around the garage is free and unrestricted, and you can still have a ride on one of our heritage buses to the city and back!
Bring mum, bring dad, bring the kids, bring a tin. GVVT Family Day is Community Day, too, and groups at Bridgeton Bus Garage include British Heart Foundation, SAMH, Beatson, Erskine, Lanarkshire Cancer Care, RNLI, St John’s, Unity Hub, Maggie’s, Glasgow Paws Rescue, Common Wheel and Glasgow NE Foodbank – who are collecting tins, pasta and rice, toiletries etc. The fun starts on Sunday at 11am.
