New to Dumfries 1974.

To Stranraer June 1977 repainted red and cream around the same time I think. Gained the SBG style  red and cream around 1979 being one of the first from memory.

Noted as a Whithorn allocation mid ’81.

To Paisley August 1982. Renumbered to PL496 Sep ’83. Withdrawn April 1984 but noted reinstated still as PL496 during July at Inchinnan. It also went to Eastern and Kelvin on loan for a short time but withdrawn again by September. It was then allocated to Johnstone, as JL496 in December ’84. Still active in February ’85, withdrawn in March. Stored at Ayr by April 22nd ’85. Sold to Strathtay June ’85. To Meredith, Malpas, Cheshire 1987 and still there in 1994! In 1995 it went to Specialised Transport Training in Liverpool. Used until 2001. 2002 saw it going into preservation.  Sold on to further preservation to Gianno Coia on 11th June 2026 and is homed at Bridgeton
