GVVT is taking the wraps off a new season with a line-up of supercharged Sundays.
An exciting programme of fresh events, each with a theme and all different, will take place in the unique setting of Bridgeton Bus Garage with its collection of 130 buses, coaches, lorries and fire appliances – and a host of added attractions. We’ll also offer free vintage bus rides and a free shuttle bus service to the city centre on our Super Sundays.


April 12, Models Super Sunday: are you part of a model group, or have you got an interesting model to display of any type, be it cars, ships, lorries, buses, or anything else interesting? If so, we want to hear from you! We’ll have more model buses than we have full scale ones, plus the superb model of the Waverley!



May 24, Bank Holiday Super Sunday & Classic Car Show: Bentleys meet buses and a huge variety of thoroughbreds from Jaguars to Chevies and Fords as GVVT opens its doors to petrolheads and diesel devotees. Clubs and independent owners are invited to display their drive.

July 5, London Comes to Glasgow: The event will take place over the weekend of Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July 2026. The Saturday will involve a running event based on Glasgow city centre with the Sunday featuring an open day at Bridgeton Bus Garage with a free service. At the garage, a spectacular line-up of visiting Routemasters and other London buses or buses with a significant London connection.


All the usual Super Sunday activities will be there too: heritage displays in the Archive & Museum, stalls, open vehicles, bus simulator and more, all enhanced with a distinct London twist and supported by a free, frequent shuttle service into the city centre. Owners of vehicles with London origins are invited to display their vehicle, it could be a bus, taxi…


August 2, Family & Community Super Sunday: More details to follow!


•Super Sunday events start at 11am and doors close at 4pm. Adult £6, concession £5, child £4, family £17, carer £2.


Meanwhile, the two biggest dates on the calendar are back with our Annual Open Weekend on October 3 and 4. Like all GVVT events, they are packed with added attractions … SIM 1, our fun bus driving simulator, PlayStation games, Wee Happy Bus and Wee Happy Shop, fresh Archive & Museum display, Clippies Café and free classic city shuttle service.

You can pay on the door (cash and card accepted) for our Super Sunday events or purchase tickets in advance from our online shop.
Super Sunday Ticket prices: Adult £6, Concession £5, Child £4, Family £17, Carer £2. The is no increase to our prices, which have been held since 2024!
Child tickets are for children aged 3-15. A family ticket is valid for 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children. Under 3’s are admitted free and don’t require a ticket!
Refreshments and toilets are be available.
The GVVT Wee Happy Shop will be open selling books, models and merchandise.
We hope to have a small number of visiting vehicles on display to compliment the vehicles in the GVVT collection.
A free shuttle service will operate every 30 minutes between the Garage and City Centre.





The MBF (Model Bus Federation) Scotland will have their layout and wonderful collection of model buses on display.
