SUMMARY:West End Bus Fest - rescheduled!
DESCRIPTION:You may remember we had to cancel our original event in June due to over-running roadworks outside Riverside Museum. The roadworks and reconfiguration has only recently been completed\, therefore\, GVVT are taking the opportunity to run a rescheduled West End Bus Fest with free bus rides around the West End\, and a vintage vehicle display at Riverside Museum on Saturday 15th August. \nWest End Bus Festival: a free vintage bus service for Glasgow’s West End\, operating a frequent service connecting Riverside Museum with key West End locations. DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to be working with Maggie’s Scotties in the City to stage their Farewell Weekend at Bridgeton Bus Garage on 29th and 30th August. We’ll also be providing a free bus service to support the event in 1950’s Glasgow Corporation style! \n\nThe Scotties in the City trail may be coming to an end next weekend\, but all 92 big and wee Scotties will come together one last time for our Farewell Weekend! \n\n\nWhen? 29–30 August\nWhere? Bridgeton Bus Garage\n\n\nCome along to see all our Scotties under one roof\, plus:\n– Food & drink\n– Stalls\n– Raffle\n– Kids activities from 10:30am-12:30pm and 2pm-4pm\n– PLUS Free shuttle in a vintage 1950s bus to and from Bridgeton Bus Station.\n\n\nTickets: £7 adults | £3 children | Under 4s go free!\n\n\n\nEvery ticket helps to fund Maggie’s Centres expert cancer support.
